Practical Placement:

  • Students must undertake their practical placement off campus over 20 hours per week over 6 college weeks in the last term.
  • The College will assist in organising the practical placements for all students . Prior to commencing placement, students must provide a current and satisfactory Police Record Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS number. If students do not possess these documents, the College will assist them in applying during the first term of the course. Additionally, it is mandatory to have an annual Influenza and Covid-19 vaccination before placement in an Aged Care setting. Students must provide evidence of vaccination.
