AIHS is a relatively small school, offering Year 11 and 12 (Higher School Certificate) in Sydney.

AIHS has been operating for more than 20 years and is part of the Academies Australasia Group Limited (AKG), a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange that has been operating for more than 115 years.

AKG has a long and successful experience in providing quality education in Australia and overseas. There are 18 colleges in the group (17 Colleges in Australia and 1 in Singapore), each with its own license to operate as an education institution. Apart from having to meet the well regarded and carefully supervised standards of the education sector, AKG must also comply with the strict financial and reporting regulations of the Australian Securities Exchange.

AIHS’s purpose is to create a learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds and nationalities can be nurtured and experience a sense of wellbeing to successfully complete the Higher School Certificate. Over the years AIHS had students from countries including Bangladesh, China, Fiji, India, Italy, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

At AIHS, students are provided with a wealth of support and diverse experiences. This is exemplified by the end of term excursions. These trips give our students opportunities to experience various parts of Sydney life outside of the classroom helping them boost their confidence and develop leadership skills.
