Yes. As an international student in Australia, you are permitted to work up to 48 hours per fortnight once your course has commenced. During the study period you cannot work more than 48 hours per fortnight. However, no work restrictions apply during the school holidays. Family members will be allowed to work up to 48 hours per fortnight through the year.
Singapore
No. International students in Singapore are not permitted to work. However, our Advanced Diploma of Tourism & Hospitality students are eligible for a paid internships, as part of their course.
While international students can work in Australia during their industry placements, it is necessary for graduates to apply for permanent residency to live and work in Australia. Yes. If you would like us to arrange for airport pick-up upon your arrival into Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth the pick-up cost ranges from $120 to $150. Some of the courses may also require a material/activity fee such as the Tour Guiding courses (please refer to the course brochure). More importantly, you must budget for living expenses for the duration of your course.
